Only five kilometres from the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Gemia Island is easy to miss on a map. Although only a few hundred metres from the better known Kapas Island, Gemia Island offers a completely different experience.

There is only one Resort on this Island, guaranteeing that you will have the beach coves and the aquamarine water almost to yourself. Gem Island Resort & Spa is a boutique retreat with 45 sea frontage villas hugging the coastlines while preserving its natural environment.

Various recreational activities are available. Snorkelling, scuba diving, island hopping & kayaking are some of the main activities here. A sea water pool is also available. How to get there?

The Island can be reached by a scenic drive along the East coast or a swift flight, either by Air Asia, Malaysia Airlines or Firefly to Kuala Terengganu (TGG). Firefly now flies directly from Singapore to Kuala Terengganu. From the airport, a 30 – 40 minutes’ drive by road to Marang Jetty and then a 15 minutes boat ride to the private island resort

Ø       Gem Island/ Marang Jetty 0930hrs/ 1130hrs / *1330hrs / 1530hrs

*These two schedule is not available on Fridays

Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment for the package. Please refer to cancellation policy for the refund status should there be any cancellation once the package is booked and confirmed.
• Bookings are allocated on a ‘first come first served' basis and subjected to availability.

 Cancellation Policy

Ø  Non peak season

-           10 % Administration charge will apply if the booking is cancelled once confirmed

-           Full package price will be forfeited for any show or cancellation received 28 days prior to arrival date

Ø  Peak season

-           10 % Administration charge will apply if the booking is cancelled once confirmed

-           Full package price will be forfeited for any show or cancellation received 45 days prior to arrival date

Terms & Conditions

• Arrival & departure details (estimated) must be provided upon confirming the reservations
• Check in time is 1400hrs and check out time is at 1200hrs
• No refund or substitutes are allowed for any items in the package which is not utilized
• Currently there is no Value Added Tax or GST in Malaysia at the time of the preparation of this proposal. Rates will be reviewed to incorporate the impact of GST when it is implemented. Details of GST are to be advised by the Malaysian Government.
